Seafood and Wine Night

On Friday the 17th of January 2020, we hosted 40 guests at our first ever seafood and wine night! 

This intermit evening begun with a glass of Enrico Gatti Franciacorta Brut NV and Wild pacific Oyster from South Australia. As the guests were introduced to our MC for the night and the waiters they were topped up with a 2018 Adelina Eternal Return Arneis, a perfect match for the first course, scallops!

We took each guest through the handpicked wines that perfectly complimented our three hatted chefs menu.

Following the scallops, we offered a generous serve of the 2018 Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay, a favourite for many in the group. The waiters and waitresses served the DIY King prawn Bao, a steamed bun, Asian herbs and kewpie mayo.

Taking the cake for the evening was our third course… Confit Atlantic Salmon, handmade fresh crab and pea tortellini with miso butter complimented by the 2017 Benjamin Leroux Auxey-Duresses. You have to taste it to believe it. The room went silent as people took their first bites and before we knew it, every plate was clean.

We concluded the night with a Japanese cheesecake, green apple and shiso granit and a 2017 Disznóko Tokaji Late Harvest Furmint.
