Pace of Play
To help maintain a good pace of play, golfers should be mindful of the following:
-
Ready Golf: Players should be ready to play when it’s their turn, rather than waiting for others to finish. This can include being prepared with the right club, lining up shots while others are playing, and moving promptly between shots.
-
Keep Up with the Group Ahead: Golfers should aim to keep pace with the group ahead of them. If there is a gap forming between your group and the group ahead, consider picking up the pace.
-
Limit Search Time: If a ball is lost, players should spend a maximum of 3 minutes of time searching for it before declaring it lost and proceeding under penalty.
-
Awareness of Time: Players should be mindful of the time taken on each shot and try to avoid unnecessary delays, such as excessive practice swings or lengthy discussions overshot selection.
-
Efficient Movement: Golfers should move efficiently between shots, including walking briskly or driving the cart responsibly.
-
Keep Distractions to a Minimum: Minimize distractions during play, such as excessive talking or cell phone use.
If golfers collectively follow these guidelines, it can contribute to a more enjoyable and efficient pace of play for everyone on the course.
Pro Shop Staff will be monitoring the pace of play. please follow all direction given by the Pro Shop Staff.
