Tuesday 13th December competition
Due to rain yesterday the whole field was unable to complete the Christmas Ambrose due to this next Tuesday the 20th will again be an Ambrose event with all the on course prizes awarded next week.
Those who were fortunate enough to finish their round yesterday were still entered in the comp of the day and competition prizes excluding the on course prizes were awarded.
Everyone who entered the Pro Comp, your entry fee will roll over to next Tueday.

Longest Day
On Wednesday the 21st of December Michael, Andrew, Ben, Kristoff and Sam will be attempting to complete the Longest Day.
This is the fourth year running and to date the Club has raised close to $10,000 for the Cancer Council Australia.
The guys will tee off at 6:00am and attempt to complete 72 holes, walking in 1 day.
You are more than welcome to come out on the day and support or sponsor them by clicking below.

Welcome Back Luke ‘Googsy’ Holding
Rossdale is proud to announce the appointment of Luke Holding to the course leadership team.
Luke is a previous employee who has spent the last 18 months working at the prestigious Victoria Golf Club.
A member of the course team who recently presented the highly acclaimed course for the 2022 Australian Open.
Luke brings back to Rossdale a wealth of knowledge and dedication that both the Board and Operational team enthusiastically welcome.
Be sure to look out for Luke and the rest of the Rossdale course team on the fairways the next time you play.

2022 Club Championships Semi Final Results

The finals are set! The blockbuster semi final matches have now been completed with some extremely tight matches full of impressive golf. The Finals will be held next Saturday with the following tee times:
A Grade: 7:00am & 11:30am (36 Holes)
B Grade: 11:37am
C Grade: 11:44am
D Grade: 11:51am
Good luck to all competitors and we look forward to seeing as many members as possible back at the club from roughly 6pm.

Medal of Medalists
Congratulations to Leonie Wilcock on winning the Women’s Medal of Medalists on Wednesday 30th of November with a terrific score of 66 nett.
Leonie was eligible after winning the May Monthly Medal with a 69 nett.

Don Nairn Memorial Trophy
Congratulations to Tanya Warrener, Geoff Charnley, Robyn Charnley and Jack Charnley (not pictured) who were victorious in the 2022 Don Nairn Memorial Trophy on Sunday.
The Don Nairn is a Mixed 4 Ball Ambrose event held on a Sunday in conjunction with the Christmas Mixed Ambrose.
Team Charnley and Warrener had a terrific score of 55.875 beating their closest opponents by 1 shot!

Lorna Steel Memorial Trophy
Congratulations to Andeau Bowley on her sublime 3 and 2 victory in the Lorna Steel Memorial Trophy over Brenda Rogers.
Andeau was a very popular winner within the membership group which speaks volumes about her involvement and character at the club!
The match was very tight all day with both players scoring very well and only a few putts over the course of the match deciding the outcome.
Congratulations Andeau and well done on a superb event Brenda!

Performance Committee
Last Friday the Performance Committee organised a two hour session with coach Tim Wood, Tim has been named teaching professional of the year the last two years.
The focus of the session was short game and was a great opportunity for some of our juniors and pennant players to learn some new skills from the best.
