Please note that the office will close from the 30th of December 2020 and reopen on the 12th of January 2021.
Repairing Pitch Marks
With the Summer months approaching it is each member’s responsibility to fix their own pitch marks when the ball has landed onto the green, this does not take long to fix the pitch mark up and this will allow us to keep our greens in the best condition when can for all of our members and guests.
If you see several pitch marks on the green, please ensure you fix them, and we will endeavour to keep a regular reminder going out to members.
2021 Fixture Books
Your 2021 Fixture book is now ready to be collected from the Golf Shop. Please ensure you collect one when you are passing through next.
Ladies Name Tag’s
All the ladies who have requested a name tag- these can be collected from the Ladies Locker Room.
2021 Club Championships
Rossdale Golf Club 2021 Club Championship Entries are now open online via the members booking portal.
Round 1 of the 2021 Rossdale Club Champions is schedule for 16th January 2021.
On course etiquette
When playing the 4th or the 6th hole and if you believe your ball has left the grounds of the golf course, you must call the pro shop immediately.
The member is not responsible for the damaged caused, but from an insurance side we need to know member, date and time if incident.
Slow Play.
Slow Play can be an issue at times, it is your job to keep up the with group in front on you, if you are lagging behind within the field, please allow two players to putt out and then walk to the next hole tee, this will help your group make up time in which you have dropped behind.
It is not etiquette to approach another member, hit up or take it into your own hands to make a group aware of their position, if you have any problems on course, please call the Golf shop team, who will assist with your request.
Lastly, if you lose sight of your ball or think it may impend on another group on a joining hole, please yell FORE to make the person/group aware of their danger.

News from the Pro Shop Staff
Ben Paine, Trainee Professional of Rossdale Golf Club has successfully completed his year 1 Traineeship with the PGA of Australia.
Ben is 1 year down of his 3-year course, not only did Ben successfully pass but topped the class with his playing average for the Victorian Order of Merit. What a huge accomplishment for such a young man.
When you pop into the shop be sure to congratulate Ben, and from all the Golf Shop Team, Ben, we are super proud of you and keep up the great work both off and on the course.
Women’s Beginner Golf Program
Saturday 9th January will be the start of the Women’s Beginner Golf Program.
Sessions will be capped at a Maximum of 10 golfers, this will be a chance for all Beginners to learn the technique of golf in a relaxed learning environment.
Helen Noble and Elissa Lal will be conducting the program, you this is something that you are interested in or may know someone that would love this chance to learn golf, please let them know and all bookings are to be made through the Members Online booking portal or for non-members phone the Golf Shop Team on 9580 1008 to secure your spot today.

Elissa, Michael, Ben and Peter would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for such a successful year in the Golf Shop.
From Covid-19 to harsh lockdowns away from Golf, it was a tough time for many.
Our members were such a joy to deal with through these tough times and the smiles that we saw on our return back to golf was brilliant. The support we receive from the members in the shop from club sales, everyday purchases and the opportunity to price match from other competitive golf shops, this is greatly appreciated, all your support to your own golf shop, supports your own course.
Remember, if you have been quoted a price for a golf product, before you purchase, give the shop a call and see if we can price match the same product and quality for you! We might be able to even beat it!
