10,000 Reasons To Attend Next Friday’s Twilight

The 2019/20 Twilight Season is underway. There is no better way to end the working week then 9 holes followed by a meal and happy hour. 

Next Friday the 1st November we are hoping to give one lucky golfer $10,000 if he or she is able to ace our Hole in One Event, if it doesn’t go off we have some fantastic prizes from our sponsors Adidas for Nearest to Pin.

Come along it will be a great spectacle and we hope the money goes off.

Remember we have a season long race to see who is our Twilight Champion. To be eligible you need to play a minimum of 10 rounds during our 26 week season. There are some terrific prizes up for grabs.

Volkswagen Scramble 

Entries are now open for the Volkswagen Scrambles.

The Club is hosting two events this year the first being a ladies only event on Wednesday 20th November at 8.30am.

Entries can be made via the member timesheet portal, this year participants must pay also through the Golf Box portal which can be accessed by clicking below

Women’s Open on Wednesday 20th November.

Our second event is a mixed event being held on Saturday 23rd November there will be a 7:30am and 12:30pm shot gun start.

Mixed Open on Saturday 23rd November.

One lucky team from each event will win the chance to represent Rossdale in the State Finals.

 Nowak Claims 2019
Col Cowden Trophy

The final round of the Col Cowden Trophy was played on Saturday. With only 18 holes left to play it was young Kyle Conway leading the way, hot on his heels though was a couple of Rossdale legends in Geoff Charnley & Tom Nowak.
It was experience that shone through as both Tom and Geoff shot solid rounds of 75 & 74 respectively. This left Tom Nowak with a 3 shot advantage and the winner of the 2019 Col Cowden Trophy.

Cock of the Walk

The annual Stephen Gardiner ‘Cock of the Walk’ Trophy commences this Sunday.

The popular 4BBB Event is always well received. The format involves two qualifying rounds which will determine the four leading scores who will then advance to 4BBB Handicap Matchplay.

First Round  Sunday October 27th 2019 

Second Round  Sunday November 10th 2019 

Semi Final  Sunday November 17th 2019 

Final  Sunday November 24th 2019

Summer Salver

The ladies annual ‘Summer Salver’ Trophy also commences this Sunday.

Just like the Cock of the Walk the ladies Summer Salver is played over two qualifying rounds which will determine the four leading scores who will then advance to 4BBB Handicap Matchplay.

Our most recent success story was member Shannon White who only (2) weeks ago got fitted for a set of Callaway irons, Shannon since posted an even par 36 for 9 holes using his new fitted clubs. By the way Shannon has a hcp of 13 !

Rossdale Punters Club continues this Saturday!

It’s not too late! For just $10 PER WEEK, you can join the Rossdale Punters Club! This friendly group is run by Bar Manager Gerard
Ryan who puts gives two members of the punters club large stakes to bet however they want for the rest of the group!

All the winnings will be split amongst the Punters Club at the end of season race day trip to Balnarring on the 8th of March 2020! The
final race day includes:
