Pennant Results

Congratulations to all pennant/colts teams that played for Rossdale over the weekend.
This round marks the final round of pennant before finals for the year.

Men’s pennant was defeated in their final round 2/5 against Peninsula-Kingswood. Well done to Andrew Noonan and Adam Burdett for winning their rounds.

Ladies Pennant lost their first game for the season against Churchill-Waverley 5/2. They will play off in Division 2 finals next week!

A message about the Colts from their terrific leader, Tim Cogger:
The Colts were greeted with picture perfect conditions & the standard of golf was fantastic. Patto River was in great nick & everyone enjoyed their rounds. Unfortunately we went down 3.5/1.5, but as I mentioned, there was some great golf played. This weeks only winner was Luke Holding, with some superb caddying getting him across the line (3&1)…….Great Job GOOGSY!

Conor Brown led all day but finished all square after 18. Jack Freeman & Max Cogger both walked down 18 to square their matches, but just fell short. Our youngest bloke, Toby Hynes, played his normal gutsy game but went down to a guy that had a massive handicap advantage.

Huge thanks to all the caddies, Michaela, Lucy, Tim, Wayne, Deisel & Adam for their assistance right throughout the year. Hopefully next year will be packed with people assisting when possible. Go Rossy!!!
