The Ladies Pennant team is flying high with yet another win under their belt! Tackling harsh conditions the ladies played beautifully, carrying on their undefeated title.  Special mentions must go to Michelle, Cathie, Joy, Gina, Bernadette and Jorja for winning their rounds. Strong competition from Cheryl but unfortunately was defeated. We look forward to see them continue to dominate the top of the leader board throughout the coming weeks.

Colts played Box Hill on Sunday in wet and windy conditions at Spring Valley, that tested all players on both teams. Jack had a good win and Max did well to halve his match.Connor,Luke and Toby were defeated, but all put in notable efforts in dreadful conditions. Next week we are at Sandhurst. Thanks to Tom and Connor for helping out with caddying and Browny, Rev and Greg Stillman for early support of the guys.

F.A Pert Winner

Congratulations to F.A Pert Winner Tony Winkler!
For those of you who don’t know, the F.A Pert trophy was donated by Fred Pert in 1954.  Open to members over 50 years of age.  The day consists of 18 holes Par.

It’s clear the Winklers are taking the club by storm at the moment, with Tony’s brother Chris winning the Club Champs a few short months ago.  I wonder what their secret to success is?

Captains Night – Save the date!

Rossdale is preparing for their biggest Captains night ever! You will not want to miss our most exciting members event of the year…  Due to the Captain’s prior commitments, this night has been moved to to Saturday the 19th of May.  Remember to mark this change of date in your diaries.

We have an amazing night planned, so without giving too much away save the date and think…. Bond, James Bond.

Watch this space for more information!

Saturday Catering Availability

The Club has recently reviewed Saturday catering operations.  As a result our Saturday menu has been modified slightly to operate from behind the bar for members and staff convenience.  Rest assured, all your favourites are still available such as Roast rolls and egg & bacon rolls along with pies, hot chips and sandwiches. Our friendly bar staff are on hand to help with both liquid refreshments and a little something more substantial, so come down and enjoy a fresh focaccia for only $8 or $12 with chips.
