A message from the President
Dear Members,
We are pleased to advise that on the 23rd February 2018 Rossdale Golf Club was advised that a cheque for $331, 855.82 was deposited into our bank account. This payment was made as restitution for the pain and suffering experienced by the Rossdale Golf Club and its members, caused by the theft of money from the club by a former employee. This was the full amount ordered by the court during sentencing, having pleaded guilty to all charges.
We now consider the matter closed and hope this outcome brings some closure to members who have been affected by the experience.
Many thanks go to those involved in the hard work that was required to achieve this outcome. This includes the Police, our Lawyers, our General Manager Andrew Noonan and a number of our previous Board and Club members who gave their time tirelessly in the interests of the club.
