Captain’s Report – October 2016
Unseasonable weather over the weekend led to the abandonment of the Ron Budge on Friday 21st of October. Similar conditions prevailed on the Saturday. This unfortunately forced the closure of the course due to unplayable conditions. The events that were to be completed on Saturday will now be transferred to the 26th of November, including the final round of Colin Cowden and the Monthly Medal. The Pennant Raffle $1000 draw will be redrawn in it’s entirety on this day also.
Congratulations to Ken O’Brien, Ken is currently on top of the Victorian Senior Oder of Merit, Paul Lulofs Trophy. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Greens are undergoing renovations, coring has been done. Players are reminded that this is a necessary requirement for our greens each year. We should be back to great greens in a very short time.
